
ABOUT CHRIS MIX-FOLEY:
Chris Mix is an Emmy Award-Winning Associate Director and Graphics Producer for the CBS Evening News, the longest-running network newscast in the U.S., which since its inception in 1948 has brought the news into homes around the world over with over 16,400 scheduled broadcasts.
In his nine years at CBS News, Chris has provided production design direction and assistance to every show under the news division umbrella, including 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, CBS This Morning, and the CBS Evenings News under the leadership of four anchors from Katie Couric to the current production anchored by Jeff Glor.
In addition to his television career at CBS News, Chris has worked in live theater beginning as the Administrative Assistant to the CEO of Broadway Across America, rapidly working his way to Director of Business Development for BASE Entertainment, an intellectual property management and acquisition company with productions across the globe including The Lion King, Jersey Boys, and Wicked.
Chris is a 2008 graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelors of Business Administration and currently bases his work out of New York City.
ABOUT SHEILA HOZHABRI:
Sheila Hozhabri is a digital marketing powerhouse at Maverick who has been responsible for managing several successful digital platforms for pop icons such as Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus, as well as some of today’s hottest artists including Fifth Harmony. She is a driven, creative professional who is destined for a long, dynamic career in the entertainment industry.
The San Diego native, who received her Bachelor of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Music Business, from Belmont University in Nashville, developed at love for the music industry in her teens. Upon graduating from Belmont, Sheila worked in artist management, doing day-to-day operations for chart topping country duo Big & Rich. She later received her Master’s Degree in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster in London.
In 2013, Sheila moved to Los Angeles and began working for CrowdSurf, a digital marketing company, as the digital marketing manager. While there, she worked directly with one management company, ReignDeer Entertainment, handling digital marketing for Cyrus, Spears, Avril Lavigne and Nicole Scherzinger. In 2016, after ReignDeer and a handful of other artist management companies merged under Maverick, Sheila made the move to Maverick and continued to work with her ReignDeer clients.
At Maverick, in addition to being the mastermind behind digital campaigns and strategies for Spears and Fifth Harmony, Sheila is also responsible for building digital portfolios for new artists including Kirsten Maldonado (from the a cappella group Pentatonix) and Kim Petras. She oversees the digital marketing campaigns and social media properties for the artists, and also handles domain acquisitions, asset management, and philanthropic efforts. “I love the creative side of my job,” says Sheila. “I love being able to work with different artists and come up with campaigns that they and their fans are excited about.”
