ABOUT SORTED NOISE

Sorted Noise is a Nashville based writing and production team, with additional offices in Los Angeles.

We aren’t a traditional production team. We market the music we make and build artist brands by connecting them to opportunities in TV shows, movies, video games, ads and trailers. With brand partnerships, viral youtube videos, buzzworthy social media tactics, and blog features. Or, by partnering with a major label, an indie label, management, or publisher.

ABOUT THAD BEATY AND JASON COLLUM

Thad and Jason have been writing, performing and producing music together since they were 15, growing up in the Mississippi town of Clinton. Over the years, their paths have forked, crossed, and finally come back together in Nashville, TN to form Sorted Noise. As writers, their songs can be heard on platinum selling records, hit TV shows like The Hills and Grey’s Anatomy, and seen at the tops of the AC and CHR charts. As performers, they share the stage with blockbuster acts like Beyonce’, Rihanna, and Sugarland, on shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the American Music Awards, and Good Morning America. And, as producers, they are combining the years of experience with their wide range of tastes and talents to create pieces of work that are unique and purposeful.

ABOUT JOSH COLLUM

(Business Development & Licensing for film, TV, and advertising)

As an artist (Secrets in Stereo), Josh has written and recorded dozens of songs with Sorted Noise, and those songs have been placed over 80 times in movies, TV, and ads. This successful partnership led to Thad and Jason bringing Josh on as a partner in 2010 to help Sorted Noise grow its presence in the licensing community.

ABOUT ANNIE CLEMENTS

Annie Clements has forged an impressive career as a musician, having shared the stage with The Eagles, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Beyonce’, Bon Jovi and the B-52’s. She continues to hold down the fort as bassist and backing vocalist with country juggernaut Sugarland. With Sorted Noise, she brings that industry experience into the studio, as well as into Artist Positioning sessions with our artists. Annie also handles all things communication for Sorted Noise.
