Mike pursued a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and graduated from The University of Dayton. His junior year he founded an non-profit charity, called Spike for Charity that today has raised over $60,000 for various charities. Following college, Mike immersed himself in the world of digital media marketing, content management systems, wireframing, web analytics, and email marketing. Soon after founding the blog, Ourvinyl.com, Mike could not help but recognize the growing popularity of the site’s exclusive sessions.

He packed up everything and relocated to Nashville to pursue a second degree in Film Production at Belmont University in effort to kickstart the production of more exclusive sessions. Following the first year of school Mike pitched the new focused vision of OurVinyl.TV to Nashville, based accelerator Jumpstart Foundry. His role and skills then shifted to film, product development, usability testing, management and fundraising. To date Mike has helped raise over 30,000 in start-up capital to keep the team on task.
