About Evvie McKinney:
Evvie McKinney is the newest artist signed to Motown Gospel and Capitol CMG. Rising to prominence as the winner of the inaugural season of the TV singing competition The Four: Battle for Stardom on FOX, the young singer with Southern charm wowed judges Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, DJ Khaled, and Meghan Trainor with her powerful voice and fearless stage presentation. A multi-faceted performer with roots in the church, soul, and pop, the Memphis-born singer is poised to create music with a broad appeal and inspirational messages. She is currently at work on her debut project, to be released in 2020.
About EJ Gaines:
Erik Justin (“EJ”) Gaines is Vice President of Marketing at Capitol CMG and Co-Executive Director of Motown Gospel, divisions of Capitol Records/Universal Music Group. A former entertainment lawyer and artist manager with 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, EJ Gaines has guided the careers of GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artists, producers and songwriters, as well as producers and talent in film and television. He resides in Franklin, TN with his wife, recording artist Janice Gaines, and their son.
About Monica Coates:
Monica Coates is a 25-year veteran of the Gospel music industry with experience in artist management, publicity, radio promotion, and A&R. Over the course of her diverse career, she has worked at the top Gospel labels and with a variety of artists, including Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Her first book, The Beginner’s Guide To The Gospel Music Industry, was published in 2009. She currently serves as Co-Executive Director and Vice President, A&R/Creative for Motown Gospel, a division of Capitol CMG.
