You will learn about A&R research, scouting talent, managing client relationships, understanding studio terms and getting the best music out of your artist. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to dive deep into the world of A&R.
*The A&R role is different in other genres, so please only RSVP if you are specifically interested in working in pop or rock music.
*Event will happen at the Atlantic Records Nashville office. MUST REGISTER to receive specific arrival instructions and pre-work assigned.
Limited capacity. Pre-work will be assigned upon RSVPing. Registration is open until 4/1 at 10am to allow time for pre-work. Attending this workshop requires active participation. ABOUT DEEP DIVE: The entertainment industry is ever-evolving with new technologies, methods, and trends. Deep Dive, an industry expert-led workshop series, will help prepare students to enter the business. This interactive workshop series is designed to teach a small group students a specific skill, trait, or area of the industry. The industry expert will develop an in-depth experiential learning workshop through some form of presentation of the topic at hand, followed by an activity, project, etc.
By RSVPing to attend a Deep Dive workshop, students are committing to actively engaging and participating for the duration of the event. Location and pre-work assigned will be shared closer to the event.
