John Peets is the founder of Q Prime South, established in 2001. He manages The Black Keys, Eric Church, Sara Watkins and Producer Jay Joyce.  The Black Keys won four Grammy awards in 2011 for their album Brothers, which is certified gold and platinum in various territories. El Camino (released Dec 2011) has also had major success reaching gold and platinum status in multiple territories. Eric Church received a Country Album of the Year Grammy nomination in 2012 for his album Chief as well as multiple CMA and ACM award nominations. Sinners Like Me and Carolina are certified Gold in the United States. Eric’s third studio album, Chief,  is certified Platinum in the United States. Jay Joyce has worked with Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Sleeper Agent and Cage the Elephant among others. Sara Watkins released her first solo album in 2009, produced by John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and released her second album, Sun Midnight Sun, in May of 2012, produced by Blake Mills. She is a member of the platinum selling group Nickel Creek.

John is also a photographer. His published long form works include: The deluxe package for The Black Keys platinum album Brothers and A Song to Sing, a photo book documenting the rise of country star Eric Church. John’s photos have been included in album packages of The Black Keys, Eric Church, Sara Watkins, The Punch Brothers, Hacienda, American Bang, and Little Big Town to name a few. His photos have been featured in many magazines including: Rolling Stone, People, Mojo, Paste, Relix, Q, etc
