This class means a once in a lifetime opportunity to me. I believe that the best way to learn, especially to learn about the touring industry, is to jump in, get your hands dirty and just do it! My passion is in live entertainment and working with live entertainment.
I am excited to get an all around experience of life on the road and learn from the many people who we will be working with. This will be a good way to see what really goes into tour production since we are the ones doing it, giving us great first-hand knowledge!
Nowhere else would I get the opportunity to tour with such classic, outstanding bands than at Belmont.
For years now I have wanted to go on tour and experience life on the road. The Happy Together Tour came at the perfect timing for me to get out there and see what being on tour really has to offer. I am excited to work and learn about all the different positions that are included in running a major tour.
I jumped at the chance to experience tour life. I have always have had a passion not only for concerts and live music, but everything that goes in to putting on a great show night after night. I’ve dreamt of this experience since I was a kid.
I have a long-standing passion for music. I am looking forward to this class because I think it is an incredible experience for us students looking to pursue a career in the music industry. This class will allow me to further my education through real life situations focusing on the music industry.
I love the process of putting together live events, but I've never worked on a tour. I'm looking forward to learning about the realities of touring and meeting interesting people along the way.
I see the tour that I will embark on this summer as an extraordinary opportunity. Personally, I will be documenting the experience via video, photos and journalism. I am excited to join fellow students aboard a tour bus and learn all about the ways of taking entertainment on the road.
This opportunity is priceless. The ability to have options like this is the reason I came to Belmont. We can only learn so much in a classroom or from a textbook before we must embark on a journey and use the tools Belmont has given us.
