About Pete Ganbarg:
Pete has been a major label A&R executive since 1989 and has held senior A&R positions at SBK/EMI, Arista and Epic. He’s also been president of Pure Tone Music, one of the music industry’s leading A&R consulting firms. Overall, he’s A&R’d records that have sold a combined 100 Million+ units worldwide. Some of the artists and albums he’s A&R’d include Santana’s “Supernatural,” as well as albums for Twenty One Pilots, Train, Christina Perri, Halestorm, Daughtry, Run DMC, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan and the original cast recordings/soundtracks for Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, Jagged Little Pill and The Greatest Showman. He’s also won two Grammy Awards for producing. In October, 2008, he joined Atlantic Records as EVP/Head Of A&R, based in New York, and was promoted to President of A&R in 2017. He’s also President of ATCO Records; a music publisher proudly publishing amazing writers like Michael Pollack and Nolan Sipe; and host of Rock & Roll High School, a podcast showcasing exclusive conversations with the legends of contemporary music.
