For four years and counting, Red Bull Music Academy has come to Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival for an annual Bass Camp. As part of the Red Bull Music Academy Bonnaroo Bass Camp, RBMA hand-selects a number of participants to come together, make music, and hear from some of their musical heroes while experiencing one of the world’s most preeminent music festivals. Participants come from all musical backgrounds and have 24/7 access to five fully equipped studios on their Bonnaroo campsite.

As an early extension of the 2017 Bonnaroo Bass Camp, RBMA will bring a session to Belmont featuring an alumnus of a past Bass Camp: Sam Wishkoski. Sam, who performs under the name Swish, has had success as a producer/songwriter for artists like The Weeknd (True Colors) and as a songwriter and touring keyboardist for the band Tuxedo, led by Mayer Hawthorne. Sam will take time to share his experiences, both with Bass Camp and the music industry at large, while also demonstrating some of his skills and techniques.

Three students who attend A Session with Swish will be selected at random to attend a day at the 2017 Red Bull Music Academy Bonnaroo Bass Camp.
