Speaker of the sessions, ​Sean Giovanni, is owner of The Record Shop­ a highly successful recording studio in Nashville, TN. Their client list includes A­listers from all genres of music including Tim McGraw, John Legend, The Alabama Shakes, Will Hoge, and Lil’ Jon. These two sessions will take place inside the recording studio at Sony/ATV Publishing, the perfect environment to demonstrate many of the production methods that will be discussed. Over the course of the workshop, students will go over do’s and don’ts of recording, methods and insights on recording your own songs at home, how to be prepared and what questions to ask when using a recording studio, and the sessions will both end with a Q&A. Everyone who purchases a ticket will be emailed a questionnaire which will help us focus the workshop on what interests you the most.

There will be two sessions, one at 11am and the other at 3pm. The sessions will be capped at 15 people so get your tickets now! There will be a $65 admission fee, but Belmont students will be given a $15 discount. The discount code for this event is “BUSA2016”.
