Mike Porter (Director of Technology/Sales for Channel D Solutions, Chair of AES-Nashville Section) will give a talk about the RF industry from the perspective of 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz professional wireless intercom systems and the shrinking 700 MHz band. Mike’s company Channel D Solutions makes RF systems that have been employed on major tours such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Blue Man Group, Cirque Du Soleil, etc.
Mike will also inform students about the benefits of AES membership and how to get involved in the regional AES-Nashville Section.
